Shahrukh shafi is a student of BA final year ( sixth semester). From Adabal of district kulgam. who writes short stories & poems.

So far he planned down several poems & short stories on various aspects of life.

He has published first book " Nest at heaven".

Second book " the dawn is always invincible "will be published shortly. He also aspires to be a civil servant.

Shahrukh shafi son of Mohammed shafi khan, a resident of adabal village, which is about 17 kilometres from kulgam, also interest in cricket & volleyball.

Shahrukh, a final year student of Degree college kulgam said that since his childhood he was interested in writing." I started writing the short stories & poems when I was in 10th standard".


" Being a arts student, I want to become a civil servant & serve my society.i want to continue this work to heal people by writing poems & stories."

He said that he is an inspiration to himself.

" My message to the youth of Kashmir would be that don't loose your hope at any stage, speak up & show patience & consistency as it is the key to success.

Every cloud has a sliver lining.he said, 

" I request the younger generation not to waste your precious time over futile things".
